Parents and Sex Toys: Part One

June 1st, 2008 · 8 Comments

I adore Elizabeth’s parents.  They are my second parents, and I really value the fact that I could talk to them about things my parents couldn’t deal with, like my depression.

They were also a very affectionate, rather sexually open couple.  They had the ultimate sexy bed – they had a queen sized water bed. Right next to the night table was a large, unlabeled bottle that I’m pretty sure was lube.  Her mother posed for sexy pictures for her father. (Elizabeth found the photos. Remember parents – hide shit better, or we will find it. How do you think I know my mother owns a Wahl? I was just looking for a half slip! I swear!)

Recently, Elizabeth ordered a vibrator from a little hole in the way toy website, since she was looking for a very specific toy.  The site was apparently rather confusing, or Elizabeth was in a rush, because some how, her billing address (which is her parents home address) was also put down as her mailing address (which…it is not.)

As Elizabeth was wondering where her package was, she received an email from her mother (Reprinted with permission):

Hi!

We got something shipped here that I’m very sure you meant to have delivered to your apartment.  I’ll send it to you when I can get to the post office.

Mom

p.s.

The plug in ones are better

pps

you should have seen the look on daddy’s face when I told him I didn’t order it either.  Poor daddy!!

I love it. I highly doubt my mother and father would have been so calm about it. “The plug in ones are better?”

I always knew my second-mommy had good taste. :)

The funny thing is, I’m more embarrassed about the whole thing then she is. My imagination has gone wild with Tony mentioning this incident in a wedding toast in front of my right wing conservative family… *cringe*

Its cute that you’re worried about Tony mentioning it in a Wedding speech. He’s not that sort of guy.

You should be worried about ME mentioning it during a wedding speech. I have very little tact.

What a cool mom, if we all should be so lucky!

But I couldn’t threaten him with a beating like I could you…then again, you might enjoy a beating so I guess I’ll have to come up with a better threat :-P

My Dad came back from Switzerland with a t-shirt with all the Karma Sutra positions performed by little people (the ones you’d see on bathroom signs) in the shape of the cross that is on the flag.

Cookie was logged into my computer and I didn’t notice so that above post was me. I can’t imagine her dad ever doing that. He even thinks Sex in the City was inappropriate .

Haha, actually, I assumed it was you talking about Tony, b/c he’d do get something like that. I <3 Tony.
